Matthew 14 ; & Answers

(1).Herodias , his brother Philip's wife.

(2). "You have no right to her."

(3). He was afraid of the people, in whose eyes John was a prophet.

(4).Herod was so delighted that he took an oath to give her anything she cared to ask .

(5)."Give me here on a dish the head of John the Baptist." (NOTE)- thus is where the saying goes give me there head on a silver platter.

(6). He ordered the request to be granted , and had John beheaded in prison. The head was brought in on a dish and given to the girl ; and she carried it to her mother.(NOTE)- and this is what extent sinful people will go to hide their sins

(7). Cured those of them who were sick.

(8). Jesus said there was no need for them to go; give them something to eat yourselves. All we have here they said is 5 loaves and 2 fish.Let me have them , Jesus replied. So he told the people to sit down ; then taking 5 loaves and 2v fish , he looked up to heaven said the blessing, broke the bread , and gave them to the disciples The disciples gave the food to the people , and they ate till they were full.

(12). Jesus said cone to Peter . Peter stepped out of the boat and walked over the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strength of the gale he was seized with fear; and beginning to sink , he cried , SAVE ME , LORD. Why did you hesitate? How little faith you have ! They then climes into the boat ; and the wind dropped .(NOTE)- Such little faith we have. When God gives us a gift , to let others question that gift. With faith , and belief with all our heart , strength , and soul any gift God gives you or me we can do.It is only our lack of faith that holds us back. You pray in the name of Jesus and believe your prayer has been answered and it will. God answers all prayers in faith.

 I am not one of those people who get up on stage and heal others. There has been a number of people the Holy Spirit touched and through him God healed.I can only think of 2 people that were healed tight when I prayed. All the rest were healed between hour-es , days or months later. Most with in a week. The things I prayed for of my self to be healed was the same way. Some of the things I prayed for the doctors could not heal and the Lord did.One was healed by death.He is now in Heaven. But if God gave you a gift of any kind do not let anyone to tell you you do not have it. That is the evil one tying to break your faith and stop you.If the evil one can give you any doubt at all he has became the won.When Jesus walked the earth many times the evil one tryed to say Jesus could not heal or He was a demon casting out demons.

Not everyone one prayed for is healed by our eye sight or our standards. God heals in His own way , His own standards . Sometimes in death , sometimes in the person's spirit or soul, sometimes in the passing of time and many , many prayers sometimes years latter.Sometimes one is not healed as fast as WE judge they should be healed. God always answers ALL prayers.But WE can not tell Him where , when , or how !

Palm Sunday this Sunday. Do you know what Jesus did on the first Palm Sunday ? Sent His disciple to go to Jerusalem to fetch a donkey , and to get the upper room for the Last Supper. When Jesus came into the city they thought He was to come as a king. They thought He was going to do away with the present king and become there now king. This is why Jesus did not ride into the city on a great and beautiful horse or on a Chariot.Jesus came to save us from sin not rule us.If He would have rode a horse it would have looked like He was going to conker the Jews not save them from sin. They did not understand this at this time.In the upper room when they had their last supper Jesus said , take this bread it is my body , eat it and remember me by it , take this wine it is my blood drink it and remember me by it.

The gift of prayer from the Holy Spirit and God the father . When one goes about casting out demons or evil spirits one must be very careful. You cast out a demon or evil spirit it can come out and into you.One must put on the armor of our Lord first.How does one do this ? One MUST be saved there self first. You MUST believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You MUST be prayed up. Not just once a day but several times a day. You MUST have forgiven everyone in your life. You MUST have ask for forgiveness and be forgiven your self. You MUST be baptized. The Holy Spirit MUST live in you.You MUST read your bible every day.You MUST believe in the power of prayer and that when you ask for something you MUST know your prayers ARE answered.You can not have any question in your mind of if the Lord answers your prayers.You MUST take your bible with you.You MUST lay hands on the person the demons are in.When casting out demons if your house or the persons house is not kept clean , the demon will find 7 other demons worse then he and dwell in your body or the person who you prayed for. Jesus said when casting out a demon the demon will go out in the desert. When he finds no place to live, he will come back. When he finds the house clean he will go get 7 other demons to live there too. This is why you must stay prayed up and keep the Holy Spirit in you.

Bible studyGod's gifts! Go you want or wish to have one of God's gifts ? First thing you need to do is to repent. Ask God in the name of His Son Jesus Christ to forgive you all your sins, Be baptized , Believe Jesus is your personal Savior, Believe with all your heart , strength , and soul Jesus died on the cross for your sins, And then live your life for God. Ask God in the name of Jesus to send the Holy Spirit to live in you, and to give you your gift. God has a gift for each and everyone of us . We need to just ask for it and believe with all our heart we have it. Then thank God and praise Him and thank Jesus and thank Him. When praying for someone it is best they ask you for prayer and believe you have the gift. They don't have to ask you but it does work best , for Jesus said when 2 or more pray together there I will be also. You need to believe with all your heart , soul and strength that God is going to answer your prayer. The person you are praying for needs to believe God is going to answer your prayer. Mark 11 ; 23 Have FAITH in God. I tell you this ; if anyone says to this mountain ,"Be lifted from your place and hurled into the sea ", and HAS NO IN WORD DOUBTS that what he says is happening , it will be done for him.I tell you , then whatever you ask for in prayer , believe that you have received it and it will be yours. But be careful not to let someone test you, by asking you to pray for someone who is blind or in a wheelchair. Because you will have doubt and the person will have doubt . The person will not be healed and they will say you do not have the power of prayer. I my self have ask Jesus and God to heal me and I had to ask over and over in my prayer as the pain left a little at a time. To believe and except the healing and to praise and thank the Father in Heaven and Jesus. But no one can go to the Father except through Jesus. But you and the person you are praying for need to ask for forgiveness first to clean your soul before God. Ask for the healing, Believe the healing is being done, praise and thank Jesus and God the Father. Also remember sonetimes the healing in death because there is no sick in Heaven.

When a man hears the word that tells of the Kingdom but fails to understand it , the evil one comes and carries off what has been sown in his heart. There you have the seed sown along the footpath. The seed sown on rocky ground stands for ( What ?)

The man who , on hearing the word , accepts it at once with joy ; but as it strikes no root in him he has no staying power , and when there is trouble or persecution on account of the word he falls away at once.

The seed sown among thistles represent. ( What?)

The man who hears the word , but worldly cares and the false glamor of wealth choke it , and it proves barren.

The seed that fell into good soil is the man who ( What?)

Who hears the word and understands it , who accordingly bears fruit , and yields a hundredfold or , it may be sixty-fold or thirty-fold.

Which one of these people are you or want to be ?

Read Matthew 13 ; 24 to 35 Try to see and hear what Jesus is saying.

Matthew 13 ; 37 The sower of the good seed is the Son of Man (Jesus) The field is the world ; the good seed stands for the children of the Kingdom , the darnel for the children of the evil one. The enemy who sowed the darnel (Was who?) the devil . The harvest is ( What ?) The end of time. The reapers are (Who?) angels. As the darnel , then is gathered up and burnt , so at the end of time the Son on Man (Jesus) will send out his angels , ( Who will what ?) Who will gather out of his kingdom whatever makes men stumble , and all whose deeds are EVIL , and those will be thrown into (What ?) the blazing furnace , the place of wailing and grinding of teeth. ( NOTE)-Don't think you can be so special that the devil will treat you any better then all the rest ) And then the righteous will shine as bright as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. (Note)- I am looking forward to that day ) Vice 43- If you have ears then hear.

What is the kingdom of Heaven like ?

Matthew 13 ; 44 The kingdom of Heaven is like treasure lying buried in a field. The man who found it , buried it again ; and for sheer joy went and sold everything he had , and bought that field.

V-45 Here is another picture of the kingdom of Heaven . A merchant looking out for fine pearls found one of very special value ; so he went and sold everything he had and bought it.

(NOTE)- this IS how it WILL be at the end of time.

V-49 Then the men sat down and collected the good fish into pails and threw the worthless away. That is how it will be at the end of time. The angels will go forth and they will separate the wicked from the good , and throw them into the blazing furnace , the place of wailing and grinding of teeth.

(NOTE)- Jesus has told us all of this. Now if we do not see , do not hear , do not believe , or do not repent it is on us our fault.

Jesus was the most important man ever to live on earth. It makes sense that events of his life were recorded by many people. Also makes sense that the Holy Spirit inspired multiple authors to record what they saw of Jesus , as it says in Deuteronomy 19;15 "A matter must be established by the testimony of 2 or 3 witnesses." Assign to historical records of Jesus life, each of the 4 books of the new Testament Matthew , Mark , Luke and John views Jesus and his actions through different eyes.Matthew was written mostly for Jewish audience , so it represents Jesus as the Messiah.Mark was written for gentiles ( Roman citizens ).Luke was written after a great deal of research and focuses on Jesus as the perfect man.John was written to Christians beginning to undergo persecution . Part of the differences in these books is that they were written by different people.They were all inspired by the Holy Spirit , but he chose to work within the different personalities of the authors.The book of Mark was written first. This gave Matthew and Luke when recording the same events to give more information in lots of places. Because the authors had the benefit of reading the book of Mark , they filled in some of the gaps.

Matthew 12 ; answers.

(1). "He went into the House of God and ate the sacred bread, though neither he nor his men had a right to eat it, but only the priests."

(2)."Or have you not read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple broke the Sabbath and it is not held against them ?"

(3). V-7-8 "I require mercy , not sacrifice" (NOTE) - Jesus came to save us from our sins not to send us to hell . It does not make any difference what you have done or what your sin is Jesus will forgive you.

(4). No it is not.

(5). V-14 because they were laying a plot to do away with Jesus.

"Look well at my handpicked servant ; I love him so much , take such delight in him. I've placed my Spirit on him; he'll decree justice to the nations. Before you know it , his justice will triumph; the mere sound of his name will signal hope , even among far-off unbelievers."

Matthew 10 ; answers

(1).Because He would not always be with us on earth in body form and He wanted to give us that to be used by praying to the Father in His name.To show the glory and power of God.

(2)."First Simon , also called Peter , and his brother Andrew ; James son of Zebedee , and his brother John ; Philip and Bartholomew , Thomas and Matthew the tax gather,James son of Alphaeus , Lebbaeus , Simon a member of the Zealot party, and Judas Iscariot , the man who betrayed Him.

(3)To go out and say "The kingdom of Heaven is upon you. Heal the sick , raise the dead , cleanse lepers , cast out devils. You received without cost ; give without charge."

(4).That Jesus the Son of God was with them on earth.

All will hate you for your allegiance to me ; but the man who holds out to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one town , take refuge in another; I tell you this ; before you have gone through all towns of Israel the Son of Man will have come.

(11)."There is noting covered up that will not be uncovered nothing hidden that will not be made known.What I say to you in the dark you must repeat in broad daylight; what you hear whispered you must shout from the house tops.

(NOTE)- If they were the same being Jesus would have said so. He would not have said anything about His Father in Heaven.

(16)."No man is worthy of me who cares more for father or mother than for me ; no man is worthy of me who cares more for son or daughter ; no man is worthy of me who does not take up his cross and walk in my footsteps.By gaining his life a man will lose it ; by losing his life for my sake , he will gain it."

(17)."To receive you is to receive me, and to receive me is to receive the One who sent me. Who ever receives a prophet as a prophet will be given a prophet's reward, and whoever receives a good man because he is a good man will be given a good man's reward . And if anyone gives so much as a cup of cold water to one of those little ones , because he is a disciple of mine, I tell you this ; that man will assuredly not go unrewarded"

Matthew 9 ; Questions

(1). To forgive for you can not go to heaven with your sins but you can go to heaven paralyzed."Why do you harbor these evil thoughts ? Is it easier to say, Your sins are forgiven , or to say Stand up and walk?"

(not) so remember Jesus did not just come to save you but the sinners of the world.
(4). That He is the Son of God , and they need not be unhappy. That there was going to be a time when He was going back to the Father.
(5).If we had the faith of this woman that we will be healed yet today.But we must first believe and have faith like this woman.
(6).It shows the power and glory of Jesus the Son of God . That He had power and glory over all the dead and the living. That He could do anything. That His power and glory does not end at His dearth or ours.That He can heal you yet today and He can save you from our sins yet even today.
(7).V-29 " Then he touched their eyes , and said , As you have believed , so let it be; and their sight was restored." NOTE - You must have faith to be healed.
